Once the order is placed, we will verify and reach out to you confirming the order and discussing any site preparations needed. We will give you a window time frame of when your order will be delivered and installed.
No, once an order is processed, we cannot make any alterations to it.

Yes, a percentage of the total amount is needed for us to start the process.
If the purchase price is less than $20,000.00, the balance is paid after the installation of the structure. The installation crew will accept a cashier’s or certified check made out to the manufacturer. Or you can pay with a credit card directly to the home office of the manufacturer (Fees May Apply).
If the purchase price is over $20,000.00, a custom order, or an order for a structure over 30′ wide, an additional payment will be required before the production can begin.
Yes, it will be easier and faster for us to finish your building if we have the exact measurements.
You need to make sure that the exact measurements are taken. Width x length x height are the measurements that we will need. Once you have this, it will be easy for you to input these information on our 3D designer tool.
Delivery and Installation:
Our delivery team will discuss payment upon delivery or any additional fees involved. The installation team will confirm the order with you then get started with the work. Depending on the structure, it usually takes 1 hour to two days for the installation.
Use this checklist to prepare for your installation
- Mark any utility lines running underneath the planned installation site. If you do not know the exact location of any water, gas, or electric lines please call 811 to have them come out and mark the lines free of charge.
- Prepare level lot: move earth if necessary to create a level installation surface. Sites must not be more than three inches off level to avoid any cut leg fees or other additional labor/ return trip fees.
- The installation of buildings upon concrete retaining walls or on shipping containers will be addressed on a case by case basis.
- All concrete pads are required to be at least 2” wider on all sides of the frame. For example: for a building that has a frame measuring 20′ x 30′, the concrete pad should measure 20’4” x 30’4”.
- Clear any and all obstacles in and around the installation site such as cars, recreational vehicles, and debris to avoid a build over fee.
- Installation crews need a minimum of 36” all around the building to fasten any wall paneling, end wall framing, and trim.
- Have payment ready before the installation crew arrives. We accept money orders and cashier’s checks made out to Manufacturer, along with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Small units can be completed in around an hour and often have multiple appointments in a day. Some manufacturers charge a service charge if the balance is paid by credit card. There is no surcharge on the down payment, even if it i paid by a credit card.
- Any safety requirements must be disclosed to Metal Carport Depot LLC. upon purchase of the unit. We must be aware of any safety training or safety classes/videos our installation contractors must complete prior to installation.
Site preparation is crucial to ensuring a smooth installation. Failure to adequately prepare your site could result in additional labor charges or even a return trip fee which is either $150 USD or %5 of the building price whichever is higher.
Delivery & installation are included in the price. (Only Exception Is Top Of The Line Buildings Inc Has A $300.00 Installation Charge For Structures Selling For Under $3,000.00)
No, the building is already complete with the measurements that were placed during the ordering process.

How long before my product is installed?
Delivery times vary depending on how far you are from the manufacturer’s nearest facility. Typically our delivery times run from 10-20 business days. In more remote locations lead-times range from 4-8 weeks. If you already have your site prepped and can accept immediate delivery please make a note on your order that you are ready for delivery.
This is why only a small portion of the sales price, (10% – $595.00 to $1,999.00, 12% – $2.000.00 to $3,999.00. and 15% – $4,000.00 and up), and no sales tax is required to order. The balance, (85% to 90% of the sales price, plus the sales tax), is only paid when the work has been completed and your product has been installed. Call before you order and we can find out if there are any delays in your area.
What do I need to do before my metal building arrives for installation?
Here is a checklist of things to do before an factory trained authorized installation subcontractor arrives to put up you building:
1. Mark any utility lines running underneath planned installation site. If you do not know the exact location of any water, gas, or electric lines please call 811 to have them come out and mark the lines free of charge.

7. Any safety requirements must be disclosed to Metal Carport Depot before purchase of unit. We must be aware of any safety training or safety classes/videos our installation contractors must complete prior to installation. Such requirements must be noted on purchase order before it is submitted.
What are the roof designs that are available?
The Regular Style, (Standard Rolled-Corner Type), and the Boxed Eave Style, (or A-Frame Type), both come standard with the Horizontal Roof Design. The Boxed Eave Style can also be built with the Vertical Roof Design. Each style can be constructed with either the 14 Gauge or 12 Gauge Frame. The ridges of the steel panels in a Horizontal Roof design run parallel to the sides of the carport or building. On a Vertical Roof Design, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport or building to the sides. Both Styles and Roof Types can also serve as the metal frame for any Full or Partial Wall Enclosure, or almost any type of custom job you may require. We strongly recommend the Vertical Roof Design on all structures over 31 Ft. long.
Why should I consider a vertical roof versus a horizontal roof in my metal building?
The maximum length of a horizontal panel in most area is 31′. Any carport or building over 31′ in those area will have two panels seamed. This does have the possibility of leaking in the future. Also as explained on sections of the website, the ridges of the steel panels in a horizontal roof run parallel to the sides and ridge of the carport or garage. Water, snow, etc., will drain to the front and back of the building, towards the door openings. If the building is perfectly level, water will ten to pond on a horizontally installed roof. On a vertical roof, the ridges of the steel panels run from the top of the carport or garage to the sides. This roof configuration displaces water, snow, etc., much more efficiently, and water will not pond on the roof. You receive a 20 Year Limited Rust Thru Warranty On All Lengths Of Vertical Roof Style Metal Carports & Metal Buildings, but on Horizontal Roofs Only Up To 31′ long are covered under the warranty. Parking Guidelines:
First measure the width of each vehicle or piece of equipment you want to protect and get a total. Then take that total and add 5′ to it. This should accommodate the opening of the doors to each vehicle or room to store the equipment and move around. Remember that all photos on our website are for illustration purpose only. So that means the picture you may be looking at may not actually represent the true width and length of the one you are ordering.

What methods are used to anchor the carport and garages?
There are three anchoring types. If the structure were to be mounted to a concrete pad or footing, then traditional concrete wedge anchors would be used. We offer a 30 inch rebar anchor that is intended for use when a structure is mounted directly to dirt or gravel surface. On our certified buildings, a helical mobile home anchor is used. On non-certified structures, these can be purchased as an optional item.
How long does it take from the time I place my order until the time the building is installed?
The majority of our installations are completed in 3-6 weeks!
What are the tallest legs that can be ordered?
The tallest legs that can be ordered are 12 feet. Our installation professionals are equipped with the tools to to handle installations of up to 12 feet. In some areas we can offer legs/walls up to 16′, call for quotes
What preparation should be completed before my building is installed?
Insure that the site designated for product installation is a flat and square surface. In order to provide you with affordable products with quick installation, site preparation as well as building permits, are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for any local permits, covenant searches, rights of way, set-back restrictions, etc.
Will ordering direct from the manufacturer result in a lower price?
No! They don’t even take your order, and even if they did, the price will not be any lower. They would prefer that you visit us, a partner/dealer. We are available more days and hours than anybody at any of the manufacturers. We are paid to answer your questions and assist you in placing your order with the manufacturers factory.
What are the on center spacing of the frame legs/bows?
As a general rule, the spacing of the frame legs/bows are 4 feet or 5 feet on center, depending on snow and wind load certification.
If installing a garage door what leg height would I need?
If installing garage door centered on the end (width of building) the leg height can be the same height as the garage door. If installing two garage doors on the end (depending on width of building) the legs need to be 1 foot to two feet taller than the doors. If installing a garage door on the side (length of building) the legs need to be 2 feet taller than the door.
